Die Hamburg Anstaltsdrachen waren wieder los. Da die Wasserdrachen und wir kein eigenes Team stellen konnten, haben wir uns wieder zusammengetan.
Die Stimmung war dem Wetter entsprechend ganz gut. Im ersten Rennen ging es gegen das Team Black Wave. Da sind wir gnadenlos versägt worden (54,34 zu 58,84). Aber gegen den späteren Sieger im Sportbereich darf man auch mal alt aussehen. Wenn man sich die Bilder ansieht, muss man sich fragen, wenn wir das mit dem wir Paddeln Arme nennt, wie bezeichnet man dann das, was bei denen oben seitlich aus dem Körper ragt?
Aber immerhin hat es nach dem Vorlauf für die zwölfschnellste Zeit von 20 Teams gelangt. Also zweitschnellste Zeit im Fun-Bereich.
Im weiteren Verlauf haben wir dann etwas nachgelassen und gegen den Alsterexpress knapp mit 59,05 zu 58,97 verloren..
So ging es im letzten Rennen um den 5. oder 6. Platz Fun. Im Rennen gegen die WSAP Selberdrachen verloren wir mit 59,22 zu 58,73 und belegten dann den 6. Platz.
Es hat mal wieder Spaß gemacht in dieser Konstellation in eine Regatta zu gehen. Am Ende bei der Preisverleihung gab es dann noch etwas Verwirrung, da man uns erst den 10, also letzten Platz im Fun-Bereich geben wollte, aber da war so einiges durcheinander geraten. Aber das offizielle Ergebnis hat alles gerade gerückt.
